When couple Victoria Parkinson and Neil Lewis saw an advert for chartering a helicopter for weddings they contacted Multiflight and are delighted that they did!
“It was the first time in a helicopter for both of us,” said Victoria.
“I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect, but Neil was really excited. Our pilot Steve was fantastic: he helped me and my huge dress into the helicopter and presented us with a chilled bottle of champagne and two glasses.”
The newlyweds wanted to make a grand entrance to their reception at West Tower Country House Hotel, Aughton, in the helicopter and so Steve flew them around the area for a while to allow their guests enough time to travel from St Mary's Church, West Derby. They flew over the church, their house, and the nearby safari park.
“As we went over the safari park we could see the elephants and one had a baby elephant. It was just an amazing experience for both of us and we loved every minute up in the air. Once we had landed we had our pictures taken with the helicopter. All the children wanted to see inside the helicopter and Steve allowed them to do this: we were really pleased as he didn't have to do this and it added to our wonderful day.”
Victoria added: “We would both like to thank Multiflight and our pilot Steve for all the help leading up the wedding and especially on the day itself.”
